Description
Planning a trip from Dubai to Russia? Whether it’s to explore Moscow’s Red Square, admire the architecture of St. Petersburg, experience the Trans-Siberian Railway, or attend business meetings, you’ll need a Russia visa from Dubai to enter. UAE residents from most nationalities can apply through the Russian Consulate in the UAE.
This guide covers everything about applying for a Russia visit visa from UAE — visa types, eligible nationalities, required documents, fees, processing time, and the full application process.
Who Needs a Russia Visa from Dubai?
UAE nationals (Emirati passport holders) do NOT need a visa for Russia. Under the bilateral UAE–Russia agreement, Emirati citizens can enter Russia visa-free for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
UAE residents holding a foreign passport — Indian, Pakistani, Filipino, Chinese, British, Egyptian, or any other nationality — will need a Russia visa. Your passport nationality determines which type of visa you need: E-Visa or Sticker Visa.
Russia E-Visa from Dubai
The Russia E-Visa is an electronic visa applied for entirely online — no embassy or consulate visit required. It is the fastest and most convenient option for eligible nationalities.
