Transit Visa (96 Hours) — AED 349
The cheapest Dubai visa option. Designed for travellers with a layover in Dubai who want to leave the airport and explore the city for up to four days. If your connecting flight gives you a full day or more in Dubai, this visa lets you visit Downtown, the Mall of the Emirates, or Jumeirah Beach instead of sitting in the airport terminal.
30-Day Tourist Visa — AED 399
The most popular visa among all nationalities. It covers holidays, family visits, short business trips, and first-time visitors. Thirty days is enough to explore Dubai thoroughly, take a day trip to Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah, and still have relaxed days. This is the visa most travellers should choose unless they specifically need more time.
60-Day Tourist Visa — AED 599
For longer holidays, extended family visits, or travellers combining business and leisure over several weeks. The 60-day visa is also the smarter choice if there is any chance you might need more than 30 days — extending a 30-day visa from inside the UAE costs AED 1,200, which is significantly more than the AED 200 difference between the 30-day and 60-day visa upfront.
Multiple Entry Visas — AED 799 / AED 1,199
Multiple entry visas allow you to exit and re-enter the UAE multiple times during the validity period. These are practical for business travellers who need to visit neighbouring countries (Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia) during their trip and return to Dubai, or for frequent visitors who come to the UAE several times within a month or two. The 30-day multiple entry is AED 799, and the 60-day multiple entry is AED 1,199.
Government Fees vs Total Price — Why Prices Differ Online
This is the biggest source of confusion when searching for the real Dubai visa price online. The UAE government charges a base fee for issuing a tourist visa. For a 30-day single entry visa, the official GDRFA government fee is approximately AED 200 plus 5% VAT. For a 60-day single entry, it is approximately AED 300 plus VAT.
However, the government fee is only one part of the total cost. On top of this, every applicant also pays for the processing and submission service — whether that is through an airline, a travel agency, or an online platform. This is why the total price you actually pay is always higher than the government fee alone.
When you see a website advertising a Dubai visa for AED 200, they are almost certainly showing only the government fee. The real total after VAT, processing, and service charges will be higher. Always ask whether the quoted price is the government fee or the total all-inclusive price.

Extensions, Overstay Fines, and Special Visa Types
Visa Extension Cost from Inside the UAE
If your 30-day visa is about to expire and you want to stay longer, you can apply for a 30-day extension from inside the UAE. Al Baron Tourism charges AED 1,200 for this service. The higher cost compared to a fresh visa application is because in-country processing involves additional official charges — including inside-UAE status handling fees and immigration processing fees that do not apply when you apply from outside the country.
The practical lesson: if there is any possibility you will stay longer than 30 days, apply for a 60-day visa from the start at AED 599. Extending a 30-day visa costs AED 1,200 — nearly double the price of the 60-day visa. Plan your trip duration carefully before choosing your visa type.
Extensions must be applied for before your current visa expires. Overstaying and then trying to extend is more complicated and more expensive.
Overstay Fines
If you overstay your visa, the UAE charges a fine of AED 50 per day for each day beyond your permitted stay. This adds up quickly — a one-week overstay costs AED 350, and a 30-day overstay costs AED 1,500. Additional administrative charges may also apply depending on the case.

5-Year Multiple Entry Tourist Visa
The UAE offers a 5-year multiple entry tourist visa for frequent visitors. The total fee is approximately AED 3,713, of which AED 3,000 is a refundable security deposit. This visa is open to all nationalities, is self-sponsored (no UAE host required), and allows stays of up to 90 days per visit with a cap of 180 days per year.
To qualify, you need a passport valid for at least six months, health insurance, a return ticket, and bank statements showing at least USD 4,000 over the previous six months. This visa makes financial sense for travellers who visit the UAE three or more times per year — instead of paying AED 399 to AED 599 for each trip, you pay once and enter freely for five years.
June 2026 Visa-on-Arrival Update
From 25 June 2026, the UAE expanded visa-on-arrival access to six additional nationalities: Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Kenya, and South Africa. However, this is conditional — passport holders from these countries must also hold a valid residence permit from the US, UK, an EU country, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, or South Korea.
If you qualify, you can obtain a 14-day visa on arrival for AED 100 or a 60-day visa on arrival for AED 250 at any UAE airport. If you do not hold a qualifying residence permit, you still need a pre-approved visa before travel.

90-Day Visa-Free Entry
Citizens of the following 49 countries receive a free 90-day entry permit on arrival, valid within a rolling 180-day period. Multiple entries are permitted during this period.

30-Day Visa-Free Entry
Citizens of the following countries receive a free 30-day entry permit on arrival. Extensions may be available depending on eligibility.
Andorra, Brunei, Hong Kong (SAR passport), Kazakhstan, Macau (SAR passport), Malaysia, Mauritius, Monaco, Mongolia, Ireland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Vatican City.
Conditional Visa on Arrival
Some nationalities can receive a visa on arrival at UAE airports, but only if they also hold a valid residence permit from an approved country. Without that qualifying residence permit, these passport holders must apply for a pre-approved visa before travel.
India — Indian passport holders who hold a valid US visa, US Green Card, UK residence permit, or EU residence permit can receive a 14-day visa on arrival at any UAE airport for AED 100. A 60-day visa on arrival is also available for AED 250.
Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Kenya, South Africa — From June 2026, passport holders from these six countries can receive a 14-day or 60-day visa on arrival if they hold a valid residence permit from the United States, United Kingdom, any EU member state, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, or South Korea. Without a qualifying residence permit, a pre-approved visa is required.
Nationalities That Need a Pre-Approved Visa
All nationalities not listed in the visa-free or conditional visa-on-arrival categories above must apply for a pre-approved UAE tourist visa before travelling.
